I’ve been following this topic for a long time and can’t help but wonder why this technology has not received more coverage. I hope that changes now.

The changes to the site were made today.

Now we have an episode container for the front page instead of a list of stories. The images module works more reliably now and we have text entry with a rich text editor.

These changes are done along with upgrading to Drupal 4.6.1.

Enjoy the ever so slightly changed look and post, post, post. Let’s get this site full of good, thoughtful insight.

Well, we got the subscriptions up and working. Now the only thing to do is get the products on the site. This has been an exciting process and now the subscriptions will start pumping in!

Here is my first blog post with a technical strain. I will be posting here periodically to update those interested in the technical progress of the site. Please comment to the post or send me a private message if you would like to see a certain thing done. If you can think it, it can probably happen.

Well, after investigating options it looks like PayPal’s system of subscriptions is something we should leverage for our system. We will still allow payments by cheque, so if you don’t like PayPal that would the method for you.

I will be getting down to implementing this in the next few days and you should see the results soon.
